Applications

What they are used for

Furniture castors need to roll smoothly and quietly, without marking the floor. That is why this family uses grey rubber and grey polyurethane treads, plus a one-piece polypropylene wheel for simpler applications.

All of them have a 2 mm pressed steel bracket, zinc plated, with a double ball race in the swivel head. They are mounted with a top plate or a bolt hole, and the grey polyurethane series is also available with brake and as a loose wheel.

They are the standard castors for furniture, stretchers and auxiliary trolleys in institutions: hospitals, care homes, hotels and schools.

Questions about furniture castors

The grey rubber and grey polyurethane castors in this family are the right choice for delicate floors, because they don’t leave the marks that black rubber usually does.

A top plate is screwed to a flat base with four screws. A bolt hole castor is fixed with a single bolt through the centre of the head, which is useful on legs and tubes.

The Ø 60 to 80 mm castors carry between 50 and 55 kg each; the Ø 100 and 125 mm grey polyurethane castors, between 80 and 100 kg.
