Materials

The right tread for every floor

Industrial castors are chosen according to the load, the floor and the working environment. Black rubber, with a polypropylene or steel rim, absorbs shocks and is very versatile. Polyurethane, in grey or blue, runs quietly and resists wear well on smooth floors. One-piece nylon carries high loads with very little pushing effort.

The brackets are pressed steel, 2.5 mm thick on swivel castors and 2 mm on fixed castors, or 3 mm for higher loads, with a double ball race in the head, and zinc plated. Some series are available in stainless steel (INOX).

The catalogue groups them by application: services and laundries, services and distribution, industry and containers, and a special model for industry and services.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about industrial castors

A plain bore is the simplest option. Needle roller bearings and ball bearings reduce pushing effort and wear, especially with high loads or long distances.

The blue polyurethane castors with a polyamide centre (services and distribution) and the nylon castors with a 2.5 mm bracket, with plain bore or needle roller bearing.

Up to 600 kg per wheel for the loose nylon wheels; with a bracket, up to 300 kg. For higher loads, see the heavy duty castors family.
