Applications

Built to roll all day long

A supermarket trolley goes from the aisles to the car park and from there onto the travelator. The shopping trolley wheels in this family have an 85º ShA polyurethane tread, a reinforced copolymer centre, a sealed ball bearing and polyamide thread guards, which stop threads and debris from getting wrapped around the axle.

The bracket can be 2.5 mm zinc-plated pressed steel, with a ball bearing in the head, or reinforced polyamide with two sealed precision bearings. For special trolleys there is a fixed castor with a directional anti-rotation fitting.

The special model for travelators has a reinforced polyurethane bi-rotational twin tread, a polyamide centre, a double sealed ball bearing and 95º ShA polyurethane leg plates.
